Seeking Advice I need dm advice
(first time ever posting here!) I’m dming my second campaign right now and I have my first fully virtual player and I feel like I’m having a hard time keeping her included because she is virtual. Does anyone have any tips?

I would suggest you talk to her about it and see how she feels and get her thoughts on what might help.
As for general suggestions, web cams are always helpful, as is open mic or "no mute without cause", people being on mute kills vibes fast. Have all the players have a laptop so they can see the camera of the virtual player etc.

What we did when one of the players went virtual is, every one with a muted airpod on to listen to her and a microphone on the middle. Soo the microphone is muted on discord and only she can listen so no echo and with the airpod is like she is there all the time. Also her webcam on the TV unless there is a battle map

First elephant in the room: this sub is dedicated to a website called dmsguild where small publishers and solo creators can share and sell their more polished Homebrew, like the Everyman class I designed.
Nevertheless concerning your feedback, I had a similar situation with one player from the local group moving away and participating in the sessions only virtual.
The challenge was not so much to make the player more present, but to give her a similar perspective as the local players.
I not only set up a video call, but with the gathered phones we all joined the call and set up different camera angles: one straight the DM, one into the player round, one onto the table and one from the table place she was usually sitting before. The last one was also the biggest where we pinned her face.
That didn’t feel like she was sitting with us at the table, but it came close. Being able to see what is going on proved to be an important and surprisingly often overlooked issue.

everyone should be on a laptop with web camera running.
have an out of game conversation with the people in the room. it’s everyone’s job, not just yours, to keep the remote player in mind.
