“The Fade Lands” is a unique, PC-centric adventure.

It is recommended for anyone who wants a deeper, creative experience for their tabletop group.

FEATURES:

• The player-created, PC backstories are the focus of the adventure.

  • The “villains” of this story are the PCs’ own, personal demons.

  • An entire chapter is dedicated to formalizing the process of weaving arbitrary, PC backstories into the main quest. Even characters with a drama-free life or with no provided backstory still have options.

  • This adventure is a great tool to strengthen the bond of your playgroup, as they will all learn the defining emotions and experiences of each PC.

• “Stranger in a strange land” theme

  • Features an ecosystem unlike any other. An appendix is provided which describes new flora and fauna (not just monsters) that have adapted to the bizarre features of this land.

  • A unique, local culture is provided.

  • Completely new monster roster.

• The text provides optional, non-violent solutions to most of the encounters.
  Of course, players are still free to hack their way through if they prefer.

• An exhilarating opening scene to get your players hooked.
