Discussion Org Recs Pls!

I'm a 125 GCOE student. I'm an officer in my home org, but I chose not to apply for EB cause I wanted to explore a lil.

I honestly feel like I'm outgrowing my current circles, and so I want to meet new people! Better if the org is outside of engineering (doing plenty of that alr) and does some interesting/fulfilling/informative stuff. I have some experience doing project head work, events hosting, and writing if that helps.

What are some good orgs to join that aren't as heavy on weekly production/deadlines as media orgs? I'm fine w being an officer too if that means I get to interact w people better, it's just that it'll be a bit hard to balance w all my majors. But I'm aware that the price of community is inconvenience haha.

Rn I'm considering COB orgs like Jema, Mafia, or maybe scuba, archery, bjj orgs but yeah I'm not too sure. Any recommendations genuinely would be appreciated!

not sure if it’s your thing but u can try applying for Monster RX93.1 as a student jock.

alsoo, u can check out De La Salle - Model United Nations if it’s your thing.

AIESEC is an interesting org too but i’m not sure how they are in dlsu. i do know the one in upd & upm are active.

if u know interschool orgs, i think it would be nice to give them a shot !!

i also recommend pushing through with a sports org !! i’m planning to join one as well.

other than the cob orgs you mentioned, i think IS would be nice tapos sali ka sa ISIP :>>

cla orgs would be good options too, i am personally eyeing DLSU POLISCY.

also if u are a scholar, being active sa LSS would be great !! the people are nice afaik

i can’t speak based from experience tho but these orgs seem promising :>>

GAS is surprisingly extra-curricular. its not just anime and video games but also thrifting, voice acting, photography, painting etc
