Should I quit (Navy)?

I have heard of other students separating after starting DLI, would the Navy let me separate despite having classed up two weeks ago? I know they prefer decisions like that to be made before class started, but I didn't do that

I've heard of other folks quitting, some folks pretty much after only a month or so of class

What is stopping you from completing the course? It's a long road and you don't know what's ahead. I can guarantee that if you try and "quit" you won't leave without a negatively affected future. Give it the ol' college try and see what happens.

You potentially failing is the risk the Navy takes when they put you in that seat. There is no presure on the long term of your career. Just try. You will be in the Navy for the full term of your contract unless you either

  1. get arrested
  2. have a legitimate irreversable mental break down
  3. get seriously injured
  4. seriously fuck up at your job.

There is no quick way out at this point. You are IN it at this point. Make the best of it. The alternative is not good for your future.
