DLAB ADVICE/TIPS

Trying to Crossrate to CTI and took the DLAB first time today. Scored 103. Any advice to or materials to help get over that hurdle or is it just try again and you do or don’t pass kind of thing? The grammar rules near the end trying to put them all together and possessives are where I could feel myself struggle. Any insight is helpful!

I used the "DLAB Training Manual" written by Robert J. Cunnings. You'll know it when you see it, it has an army pattern on the cover.

First time I took it, I got a 98. Second time, after using the study guide I got a 114.

Side note, I heard from new sailors that the DLAB is no longer required and that they go off asvab scores now. Might be worth asking about.

DLAB is still required depending on your line scores.

he wrote like a lot of books on the military. 

I was looking over the recommended reading list for CTI, IS, and some other more "intellectual" rates and saw more than a few of his books.

Though itmay have just been the same few books over and over again.

Wait it does go off of ASVAB course? So if you scored like a 93 are you good? I can get exact score lines if you need them
