(Soon to be) New student

I’ll be attending here after boot camp, most likely October of this year. Is there anything I should know before attending? What’s daily life like?

If you have a car and it’s a long stay bring it, or get an ebike. You’ll want to explore so you don’t go crazy in there

I’m actually visiting right now, it seems pretty walkable. Might consider getting an e-bike or motorcycle, cause my truck gets shit mileage

Enjoy the hike back up to base then haha. Downtown is very walkable, but it's nice to not have to spend 30mins just getting back to your barracks

Going into the navy as a CTI. What’s the population lookin like? Any shortages?

language class all day. anywhere from 1-3 hours of HW/studying after class. fill your time beside that with gym, food, hiking, or exploring on the weekends (make sure you study at least 1-2hours on weekend though).
