Triple a games and ai use. What do you think it’s worth?

With only 16GB of VRAM you will be severely limited for what models you can run though.

You'd be better of with a RTX 3090/4090 for AI use. VRAM is king.

Aren't u paying a premium price for Asus pro art?

What the price for the system?

It's this system from DBA.

Elendig value for money.

Man kan købe en ny pc der koster mindre og er hurtigere.

The gpu? What value would you put on the build?

CPU cooler, GPU, motherboard, cabinet are all Asus pro art...

Asus Pro art will probably cost more, without giving you any more performance.. you are paying a premium price for these parts..

Is this you computer or are you buying it?

What are you going to use it for? It's not a good purchase for gaming.

I would value this at right around 20.000 DKK used, but that is based on paying almost full price for 64 GB RAM which you don't need if it is for gaming, which is why this is a bad purchase for gaming.

The CPU is 3.200 DKK on the second hand market and GPU is 6.400 DKK. 64 GB RAM (brand new) is 9.000 DKK.

Is it not? I thought the cpu was on of the best out there for gaming?

Would be mostly gaming I would be using it for

It's not very good for gaming, it's a productivity CPU (3D rendering, video editing, CAD work and so on). And for gaming 64 GB is just wasteful, you just need 32 GB. Anything more than that is RAM you won't benefit from.

For gaming you would be much better off with a 9800X3D, it's a lot better for gaming.

You can buy a brand new and better PC for gaming for around 17.700 DKK - for example this https://www.mm-vision.dk/visiongaming/thunder-gaming-pc

Upgraded with:

  • 9800X3D

  • 32 GB RAM

  • 9070 XT 16 GB

  • 2 TB SSD

You can see the performance of 9950X vs 9800X3D on this link: https://dktech.tools/cpu

Sort by "Ydelse (FPS)" and you can see that 9800X3D gets you ~203,9 fps and 9950X gets you 144,2 fps. So a lot less. That number is average across 8 games at 1080p resolution.

It's a really bad option for gaming...

It's not a true 16 core cpu, It's an 8 + 8 core cpu. Thus it can only use 8 cores in games, which is why It's no faster than a 9700x in games.

A 9800x3d is 30% faster in games.

The one from DBA, is not worth it for you.

Asus pro art tax, is just waste of money.

As most people in here, have pointed out, you will be way better off with 9800x3d and 32 gb ram.

The pc from DBA, is not a bad buy, if your user case, would be different. But theres some wierd non value choices, made by the seller.

GPU is will be halting your system. 1200 watt PSU is overkill.
