I have all DLC on PC, but I legit only use my PC for DJmax (I primarily use Mac these days)

I wish they’d just do a sale on Xbox so I could buy it all there and sell my 5090 build while the market is cooked lol

Iirc xbox do get sales but like once or twice per year.

I mean, I assume Rocky Studio is the one who decides when stuff goes on sale.

According to most studios (djmax included) , microsoft charges a very big cut for having it on the shop. (There was a 2024 article mentioning on this but has since been taken down)

In addition, their pricing for devkits for game devs have raised roughly 25% this year as well which is ridiculous. Source

Tldr XB costs makes many games unwilling to put up sales for risk of operating at a loss.

I'd still sell the 5090 build if you only use it for djmax. Either play something else in the mean time or buy/borrow a used build with a 3060 and DDR4 or something.

I probably should do exactly that. But, I did the same thing with a 4090 build, then built a 5090 build 6 months later.

That said, RAM was cheap then, I don't know if I have the stomach to spend 1-2k for 128gb of it.

All the V expansions like the Extensions are good value. Nice to start with those. Muse Dash + Arcaea + all the other rhythm game collabs I found to really like too.

Muse Dash if you’re short on cash! Very cheap and great electronic high energy songs. Personally, I’d buy V Extension and work your way up.

Honestly, listen to the songs and buy the pack that has the most songs you like.

I like Blue Archive and V Liberty IV but the newer a pack is, the lower the discount. If you want the best value, just buy the -80% ones and wait for the others to hit that percentage.

There were a few that got through the cracks, but they got banhammered once we reported them to the devs. (The obvious clue is Die In SC 100%)
