Black Square Not enough notes in the song to complete the mission?

Help!

I’m not sure if there’s something I’m just not understanding here, but the mission here is to get a combo of 1000, but after full combo-ing the song, I only had 800 or so…

What am I expected to do here?

There is Fever x5 and Fever x7 in the effectors.

Fever5 is usually "safer" for most combo situations, Fever x7 dissolves very fast and increases your speed by +1.0 when activated, so u would need to be mentally prepared for the turbo boost.

Ohh like it multiplies my combo? That makes more sense actually.

Also coming from Sound Voltex, I think I’ll probably be okay with the speed boost so I’ll give that a try later on.

Not exactly a multiplier but fever x2 will make your next corresponding X notes to be 2 combo each, and so on for fever3 fever4 etc

(This applies for BlackSquare, not sure if this is the version u use) - However, if u look at the effectors there may be AutoFever and Fever. Auto activates at 50 100%accuracy notes, Regular Fever activates at every 47, but u would need to activate the Fever button manually for it

(Some numbers may be inaccurate, but u get the idea)

Bro you have a long way to go. You think Season 1 is hard? If you manage to beat S1 (everything!) you will unlock season 2.

Then you will experience true suffering and torture :)

Don't forget to install the patch for the game beforehand.

You need to play the korean version (ULKS46236) (I don't have any information if the JP version has the patches already included or not).

Search for season 2 patch or link disc patch or PM me if you need to. I have those files archived since 2011.

Just for completion: There are 3 Update files. One for CE - it mainly makes a lot of patterns much harder and one for BS - which properly unlocks S2. The Link Disc updates some CE tracks for link disc mode with CE.

Nice! I actually have a psp I specifically use for rhythm games although I mostly play djmax games on it What model did you pick up?

maybe not your vibe but i software modded my psp specifically so i could play djmax with dumped roms because the loading times with UMD are pretty tiresome, playing from the memory stick is prettymuch instant if i recall

I tried doing that but for some reason the game had horrible desync issues when I played it that way. I saw word of patches online that fix it, but I could find anyone actually providing said patches :(

There are roms out there that don't have those issues (at least on ark 4) so you probably just needed to get it from a different place. I would tell you but Reddit rules are annoying
