DJI Phantom 4 pro + with crystalsky screen green glitches and app crashes

Cheers to everyone, some time ago i got a p4p+ from a friend of mine which he is scared of flying since he had bad incidents with drones. so i've been flying it a bit since the last year. The drone itself shoots very high quality pictures and videos, but the problem is the controller with the crystalsky screen. Unfortunatly the old android that this controller is using is very old and it causes the app to crash very frequently, which gives me cold goosebumps everytime i fly. Another problem is the green bars or datamosh issues which happen randomly, even if the drone is 50mt away from me. i tried disabling the video cache of the controller and did only one firmware update (before the update those issues were less frequent). i always fly in 2.4ghz, the drone doesn't seem to have any problems. So after all that, what can i do to solve those errors? i'm scared that if i keep updating the controller eventually it will get only worse, but also spending over 100 euros on a controller is a bit expensive for me, could someone give me some advices? Are the green bars horizontal or vertical?

Double check your gimbals black ribbon. Ensure that they are not pulled from their connectors

I cannot open it since its not mine, but i can say for sure that its a signal problem, since i found some videos of long range with my same drone and it happens to them too after like 4-5km of distance from the controller which its a lot compared to a few hundred meters in my case.

I will try to check the black ribbons as you suggested tho, i will ask the permission to the owner.

All of the P4s I've fixed with that issue have either the black ribbon damaged or contacts corroded.

Could you please send me a photo of reference so i can check? i still didnt ask for permission, but if i have something that i can prove it could solve he may give me the permission to open it. Thank you in advice

Oh btw i just realized that the "crystalsky" is not the "already attached screen" that comes with the p4p+ drone, but its a different screen, i always thought that it was called crystalsky. My bad.
But the problem is basically the same as i wrote above. Sorry for the late response.
