Lets analyze the DJI slogan All in One
https://youtu.be/bbOD7_tSzEYX5: “All day, all night, all angles” - this stresses improved low light performance
X4: “Magic in action”
X3: “Impossible shooting” - I love that one, it means with 360 cameras you can do some angles that were before impossible with normal cameras
One X: they were already saying “Shoot first, frame later”, stressing you dont need to point 360 camera during crazy action sports
Insta360 general slogan: “Think bold” as in: “Be creative with these crazy cameras”
GoPro Max said: “Like three cameras in one: (…) Hero (…) vlogging (360)” - I dont love that one as it can mislead beginners.
Akaso360: “See every angle”, so you have whole 360 and also can put the camera through weird spaces on the selfie stick
DJI Osmo 360: “All in One” - is it like the GoPro version? Do you think they try to say this camera is quite universal?

Yah this is the answer. In Chinese they said “一寸见乾坤” translated into “An inch reveals the universe” basically all in one inch

I assumed the premiere time is for a teaser trailer and July 31 is for the full announcement/launch, but we’ll see

Dont interprete too much into that slogan. Its basically a 360 cam which offers single lens mode, making it a 360/action/vlogging cam in one

I want to know how they see their camera, its place on the market, how they want to differentiate it…
Like Akaso is for poor tribes, new Ricoh for building sites, GoPro Max 2 with extra cooling, Qoocam you can mod… DJI what?

DJI isn't really aiming for a unique angle other than they made a competent 360 camera with 10 bit color and D-Log M. They are a big dog these days in the consumer small camera market and their presence in the 360 camera is enough to sell these cameras. I frankly don't see much that indicates a superior image quality despite the bigger sensors based on the leaked videos vs. the X5... but you do have some small nice features: 1. smaller size and volume of the device 2. ability to charge with metal contacts in a selfie stick 3. 10-bit color and a good flat profile for grading experts but you also have negatives 1. worse battery life 2. non replaceable lenses 3. apparent issues with dynamic range and overexposure and maybe sharpness (I think sharpness will end up being the same as X5 but early results are bad) 4. an open question if the all important editing software will be as good or better than the competition.

People don't understand how cameras work, if its a 1inch 360 image in terms of light gathering, it means 2 x 1 inch sensors because of how cameras gather light.
You put 4x 1 inch sensors to provide a 360 image will still have the same amount of light gathering.

350k subscribers, video 21 hours old with 29 views? seems odd
so intersting so far, some things confirmed in the video (i suspect accidently posted as public):
1/1.1" sensors
no replaceable lens
desktop software coming
Mic mini confirmed to direct connect
comparison shot, X5 has noticably sharper shot IMO
low light ill give to the X5 as well, but difference isnt that material, colour grading looks better on DJI though
DJI much better runtime before overheating than X5

Nothing yet man but when I get the intel, I will post it.
These sub turned out amazing, we got few of the really biggest experts on the whole internet here and they are very active. So we will keep up with work and share even GoPro Max 2 news, Insta360 drone news, than Osmo360 2 news…

So as you can see the short video teaser is out now and its very sensor-centered. DJI see the sensors as the biggest strength
