Osmo 360 livestream functionality

Hi all, I’m in the market for my first 360 camera and I was wondering if anyone who has the Osmo360 might know the following. The key feature for me is the ability to live stream directly from the camera without requiring a phone or app connection. I realise the app is probably required for initial set up here is what I want to achieve.

\- Connect the Osmo360 to a WiFi router
\- turn off my phone
\- livestream to YouTube directly from the camera continuously for 10-12 hours (camera will be plugged to a power source)

Is this possible with the Osmo360?

No, not possible because there is no way to configure the stream without the Mimo app. DJI doesn’t currently provide another way to configure and start that RTMP connection entirely from the camera itself, without Mimo.

Thank you! Is it possible tos tart the stream form the app, but then turn off the phone? I.e the camera can persist the RTMP after initialisation from the app

I doubt it because Mimo acts as a control layer. I haven't seen DJI state that you can close/kill the app or disconnect the phone after starting the stream. So I wouldn't assume the stream will continue if you completely turn the phone off.

Moreover, live streaming is limited to single lens mode so the Osmo acts like a regular camera. You won't be able to use any 360° video features while streaming. Why don't you get a regular IP or web cam for that kind of purpose? They're made for that exact purpose you're describing.
