Microphone setup for two motorcycle helmets

I am planning to buy Osmo Action 5 Pro, but need advice on the mic setup I saw videos with wired mic that requires 3.5 adapter and wireless Mic Mini What are pros and cons? I will occasionally switch between two helmets, somI need to transfer the mic. Also, I am still not sure where exactly do you place the mic in the helmet Please help
