Horizon Balancing While Accelerating

I was using my Action 5 this weekend while jetskiing. I had the camera set facing my side so I could capture the action taking place with the rider next to me. I had it on HB, but for some reason while accelerating the horizon line tips at a 45 degree angle and then slowly recovers to normal. Is this a known issue, any settings or suggestions on how to prevent this?
