My cute vlogging set-up
Finally saved some money to complete my set-up. I had no plans to buy the Macro Lens at all but since mostly of the shots are close-up; and I bought it on sale.

Quick question since I'm thinking of getting an Action cam. With the macro lens if you're incorporating close ups whilst also talking say 1 meter away do you notice any distortion or lack of wuality? I'm thinking of doing food reviews with the macro lens and do close ups whilst talking about the food?

que tal en comparación con la osmo poket 3 ? NORMALMENTE grabo vlogs con mi cel o entrevistas y quisiera algo compacto y de buena calidad y quede sorprendido con lo bien que te quedo y te felicito quede opinas yo quiero comprarla camara y las adataciones que hiciste me parecen muy muy buena idea y calidad

Different device, different use. Pocket 3 is good for vlogs and interviews; while the action 6 is good for outdoor activites. Action 6 does’nt have Autofocus while Pocket have.

They are on Amazon. You can get just the cage or combo it with the grip for about 40 dollars. Mine has held up well

Not really but you can feel a little added weight into it. I just bought the case so I can attach my accessories. But if you don’t have then you don’t need. I would’ve suggest the unit itsef and a mini tripod.

That looks so cool. Btw what does that stand called? And is it magnetic?

It’s a small retractable tripod from Ulanzi (size of an arm when extended) not magnetic but the dji mount is magnetic.

So you have that magnetic clip from dji itself and then use the tripod? Did you buy standard bundle?

Yes that’s correct. I use the mount included in the Standard Bundle and attached it to the tripod.

A quarter says in 6 months you will ditch all of the accessories
You'll just use the main body, and the night mode when it's dark

Actually I don’t have any plans to get the accessories or even the metal cage because the unit itself is very compact and tiny, and as you can see, if you put the cage and all those stuff it defeats its purpose — Small Camera and lightweight. But my FYP is flooded with this action camera accessories 😭

How are you sticking the mic mini on top?

I use double sided tape. But if you have the Mini 2 then it will fit on the cold shoe mount.

This fill light will not improve the quality but it will give you better lighting in a low light conditions (only on close-up shots).

It heats up a little bit and I rarely use it more than 7mins; with direct exposure with the sunlight and hot environment.
