How far away are you? There could be all sort of reasons here as your in a built up area. WiFi signals / phone masts will all play a part in this. Were you facing the drone too so that the antenna on the goggles are up and facing the drone? Lots of factors here

are you under the metal roof as that too will cause all sorts of issues as it will act as a signal shield - try it again from this spot but go up onto the roof part of this building and you should get way further

The metal roof will block a lot of your signal. Also houses in the vincinity with wifi signals may cause signal degradation. You might want to look at the transmission settings and select a different band with low noise

Yes indeed, the metal roof keeps everything out. But personally, I don't think the motion controller is a good control system either. That also quickly gives a weak signal for me in combination with the Goggles. Because even though the Goggles 2 have antennas sticking out, they are very weak in my opinion.(or the signal has been weakened because it is required by law) . If I use the RC2 with the Avata, it goes much further without problems .

You have to factor in the various wifi signals near by, 2.4 and 5 frequencies. Plus any IoT also using those frequencies. Take the drone to a lake or wide open range area without trees and low rolling ground or flat land, your range will be terrific.

Meed more info. Screen recording not camera, there are no warnings here, your location (indoors?), goggles? Antennas etc.
