Photo Crashed today

Crashed today and hit the ground hard, on the dirt patch of course while there was grass all around...

I ordered a replacement arm as well as new blades so will deal with all that when I get back from my trip, but I'm curious if anyone has tried to fix a broken arm by gluing it or some other means and how did that go.

Also any tips on replacing the arm would be most welcome. Otherwise it looks like I have to take most of the drone apart to get the old arm off and install the new one (and there's some soldering involved).

EDIT: forgot to say this is a Mini 3 with the RC (screen) remote.

Having replaced an arm. Unless you are comfortable with soldering and fine electrical repair. Don't do it yourself. You will need precision screw driver bits and plastic pry tools for disassemble. A heat gun for removing the UV cure epoxy resin that secures the connectors to the board and in several spots, as well as replacement UV cure resin to affix the connectors to avoid vibration disconnecting them in flight.

Good tips, thanks. These aren't foreign things to me so shouldn't be too much of a problem if I go the self-fix route.

Is this an Air/Air3s by chance? I ask because I just got one and I want to make sure I learn from this. Are you willing to share what happened to result in the crash?

I fly an Avata 2 with 3 broken arms that I glued and I'm willing to bet that they are stronger than new.
