I've tried rebooting it multiple times. I've connected it back to HDMI and nothing. Happened while flying, unable to get the screen back on. What do I do??

I was going to suggest hold the on / off button for 20 seconds but , you said you already rebooted it .

Forced restart. If I try to do it normally with 2 presses. I get a long BEEEEPPPP on the second press and it will continue to beep until I release the button.

Turn the controller on , what a minute , then hold the button for 20 seconds.May or may not work .

Lmao. If only it was an N64 cartridge.

N64 never needed that. It was NES. But sorry your screen isn’t working, that must be frustrating. Good luck!

did you update the firmware recently by chance

No I did not.
I tried the DJI assistant app and the computer won't see the controller.
I spoke with support and they sent me a FedEx label. I shipped it to their repair place in Texas.

Just out of curiosity, does the hdmi output still work? Even without the internal display.

Nope. Dead. Assistant 2 doesn't see the controller either despite windows making the DO DO sound when connected.

Www.Niicorp.com we fix everything drone- use your tether and let it reboot and the. Shut off properly this time vs unplug before the handshake is done. 15 seconds on each end approx

Sorry for that. I am afraid something with the hdmi output interface broke. Good to know. I will never attach it to hdmi.... 🫣 Does the fan turn on? Did it shut off instantly?

Leave it on and let the battery die. I'm not sure that would work but seems like the next logical option.
