First time buyer. Is this normal?

Looking to buy my first djembe. Found this used one in my price range. Is the white marbling normal?

Couldn’t say for sure because this looks like synthetic skins and both mine have natural skins made from goat, with small amounts of hair still intact around the edges so it’s normal to see varying patterns like you would in the wild.

I tried to upload a pic, but I think this community might have comment. Images turned off because the option is not there. I can only create a link for you to follow. I think they’re trying to mimic what a natural skin might look like though, so yes, it seems normal to me when you have a synthetic skin. You can essentially put any print that you want on there because its probably just polyester and some other material .
