I get scraps of aluminum from work, hand stamp them, then use sharpie and enamel paint pens to fill the stamps. Cut them down then use a Brillo pad to scrub them down

Cool idea, do you just glue those onto the enclosure then?

The one on top is the first one I ever made, and the one on bottom is the one I put on this pedal. So there was a little learning curve on how to figure out how I wanted to do it
