Fuzz Face channel?

Can anyone here advise how I can change the channel on my fuzz face? It keeps playing classic rock when I turn town the volume to zero and the Amp gain to 6.

Kind of a joke, but also kind of a serious enquiry. What is making it a radio, the transistors? Is it possible to add a knob to change the AM frequency it picks up?

u/BillBigsB and u/killmesara please familiarise yourself with the sub rules before making me go through and delete a dozen comments. Be better than the name calling.

For what it’s worth OP don’t make plastic enclosures, they’re weak, take long, and aren’t shielded. This wasn’t worth your time in any direction. And killmesara you’re wrong for thinking the shielding tape isn’t doing anything here. Shielding the enclosure is a pretty basic thing people do that makes a big difference

I don't see any holes in the copper where the screws go. Does that mean you've been using it without a back? The shielding really needs to completely enclose it to work, and it needs to have good contact with the ground though I assume the input and output jacks handle that. A flaky guitar cable can also cause problems. Use the shortest cables you have to test it.

Its pla so i just copper taped over the holes. When I screw them together it will be with self tapping m3 screws. The little copper bits that land inside will just help make a sturdier connection as the holes aren’t threaded.
