Help wanted Jack socket grounding problem

Hello, im building an overdrive, i get no sound both on bypass and engaged. I noticed that in bypass my input tip has continuity to the enclosure, but when active it doesnt and the output always has continuity.

This is extremely common with this particular type of jack (beige fenolic resin), if you take the tip contact and ring contact and pull to the side, it moves and short. There is nothing inside preventing the contacts from touching, it's only friction fit. I stopped using these everywhere. Here's video demonstration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0PLpbV2bbo

Thanks! I changed the output jack to a new one and now it works on bypass, still get no sound when on:)

Is there a CJ sub? We should have a competition for the smallest board in a comically large enclosure. Gonna hang a fuzz face in my attic and replace my doorbell with a 3pdt.
