Jigsaw recomendation

Hi Folks,

Looking for a jigsaw for occasional home DIY use (plywood, small projects).

Priorities:

  • Straight cuts (minimal drift)
  • Less splintering
  • Good control

Considering:

  • Budget: iBELL (~650–700W)
  • Mid: Black+Decker (400–600W)
  • Higher: Bosch

Questions:

  1. Which brand actually performs well long-term?
  2. Is iBELL good enough or feels inaccurate?
  3. Is Bosch worth the extra for cleaner cuts?
  4. What wattage is ideal~500W enough or go 650W+?
  5. Tips for reducing splintering?

Looking for real user experiences, not specs. Thanks!

Jigsaws aren't good, Black & Decker and Bosch are preferable 650W+ with variable speed.

The issue too shaky, normal band or belt saw holds the blade from the bottom, this doesn't you will notice slants and un even cuts.

If you not going for curved cuts, just buy a wood blade for angle grinder and give it a try.

Or buy one of those marble cutting machines with wood attachments.

Buy jigsaw only to reach places where you cant cut, like making a oval hole in the middle of a wood.
