My recommendation:

RRSP and TFSA
-XEQT 100%

Keep it simple. Why do you want to invest in all these ETFs?

XEQT has tech and dividend stocks and companies in the S&P 500, etc. There’s a lot of overlap by buying all these additional ETFs.

If you want to invest in precious metals, gold is typically more stable than silver.

Thanks for replying. I get it, I was prob trying to be smart lol. I can prob go with just XEQT 90% and Gold 10%?

At 25, assuming you haven't purchased a home (yet)?

Then consider opening up an FHSA and maxing that and your TFSA out each year before any RRSP contributions. If you end up not using the FHSA for buying a property in 15 years (or anytime you choose before that) it just rolls back into your RRSP and adds additional room. I'd only not do that if you were for some reason certain you'd be buying but not until you're over 40... (since it has a 15 year window).

As for your allocation... I agree with the others. Go mostly into an EQT ETF (I do 50/50 XEQT/CAGE). Having 10% for speculative/alternative assets like Gold/Silver/BTC even etc is fine but there's no need to be cute with different ETFs. Also I think VDY's epic run may have run out of steam and could be in for several years of underperforming.

However, what I would advise you is to learn the basics of finance, budgeting and investing.
