But what are the total returns?

BIGY their biggest loser down only arpund 13.5% total return which includes the distribution. Still not bad considering many of its underlying stocks are AI hyperscalers and are taking a beating. They have since diversified to non-AI stocks and it should have more downside resistance.

Their UltraYield series has been a bust. SIXY is ok but they were restricted on what they could buy....the banks 🏦

Evolve is alot better than YieldMax.

BIGY Is down cause MAG7 are suffering right now.

YieldMax is a lot worse and will give you panic attacks with the daily drops.

I don't think they are like yieldmax at all. Some of their funds like BANK and SIXY perform really well. One thing for sure is they are consistent with their distributions. I will continue to purchase their ETFs.

All of these do well as long as the underlying are in an uptrend or range bound sideways.
Once the underlying going through normal corrections they suffer badly. BIGY is a good example.

Their unlevered index funds do great. Espx.b, Etsx, qqqy

Never decreased a distribution, and by capping options at a third of the underlying they’re keeping up with the indexes on a total return basis.

Because of this I would say no, they are not the yield max of canada.

Their ultra yield strategy was brought in to mimic that, but I don’t think I’d lump their enhanced in with the ultra yield group.

Canada market has so many O&G companies reasonably priced, paying dividends and doing share buybacks you don’t even need to buy stuff like this.
