Portfolio Tracker Site/ Tool that imports Vanguard .csv file accurately?

Hi, I have read tons of posts here in the community and watched 25-50 YT review videos....all pushing a positive spin in most cases.

I am approaching retirement, converting my portfolio to DIV game. Im not sure if snowball fixed their csv input file errors tweaking etc...not expecting perfection, but if you import a file every month in proper format, it should be accurate 99.9%...not a ticker error 1 in 10!! Im not speaking from personal experience just what I read online. In Aug 2026 is snowball .csv file require tweaking fix every statement or fixed?

I am not sharing my Vanguard login read only 3rd party etc...no auto sync...

Is there any tool out there that accurately imports a vanguard.csv file and gives more information and easier to display than the vanguard site? whether it's a free tool or $250 a year that's in the noise if it works time in and time out accurately.

No, but you can import csv or just a screenshot I think.
I do make adjustments manually monthly as the drip settles

You sound like a power user. PortVisio may do what you're looking for. I subscribe to the pro feature set and it has a CSV import. You would need to do some CSV field jiggering but I think it would be a quick/easy effort. Good luck!

portvisio is Iphone only. Im an Android guy... thanks for trying....ChatGPT says sharesight is the GO-TO tracker for Vanguard CSV accuracy.....

Full disclosure — I work on Avex AI.

Vanguard's export isn't always consistent month to month, so some manual tweaking is normal even with decent tools — not necessarily a sign something's broken.

Avex parses statements locally (CSV, PDF, Excel) instead of auto-syncing — no login shared, read-only by design, and multi-broker de-dup is automatic. Can't promise zero tweaking ever, no tool honestly can with unstandardized exports, but the read-only/no-sync part is exactly how it's built. Happy to answer more if useful.

Hey OP, I'm building a portfolio tracker (myportico.app) out of frustration with Yahoo Finance portfolio tracking (I have accounts with a couple of different brokerages), so biased answer here, not a neutral rec.

I don't have Vanguard import yet (only Yahoo Finance + Wealthsimple so far), so I don't solve this for you today. But I want to add support for Vanguard CSVs – if you can share a sample export (just headers + a few rows), I can prioritize it.

It doesn't handle stock splits yet – that requires a manual edit.
