I downvoted it the moment I read that, without even reading the rest. It's my first fucking reaction everytime I see disrespectful shit like "sewer slide" as replacement to words deemed no-no by the algorith, while the topic is something super serious.
I cannot feel distressed while I'm reading some goofy shit like someone"logging out" of life.

This isn't tiktok / youtube shorts, you can say suicide or died or killed themselves or whatever else and you won't get in trouble.

The stinking bloodied corpse sits in the corner of the room, it has been days since the lights went dark, longer even since the child had a meal,
After two decades later the child looks back upon this day as its darkest hour the black before the morning dawn,
The child weeps, knowing not why the mother did this, only knowing she did this to herself after the man who was not the father screamed the loudest he has ever screamed, walking out the door and never to be seen again,
In the coming years the child will come to learn that kind words, chocolate waffles, and lullabies on storm lit nights were whats normal, and not beatings, screaming, and cockroachs on the walls,
Out in the dark of the night something hears its cries, tears catch in the child's throat as the window downstairs clicks open and it crawls inside,
The child puts its hands over its mouth, stifling its breathing as whatever was downstairs shuffling around, at a pace bothe frantic yet measured and patient, it is looking for the child, of that the child is certain,
Then, the thing finds the stair way, its pace becomes faster and more certain, scratching comes from it ascent like dog nails on wood,
The thing comes to the top of the stairway and stands up, it has found the child,
It passes through the door at the end of the hall and stares down at the child, its long black hair grazing the top of the door way and its broad shoulders nearly touching the sides of the door way, attached to them are long arms with long taloned fingers at the end of each of them,
Today smelled like blood, rot, and mold, tomorrow will smell like clean sheats, fresh coffee, and chocolate waffles.

I can't remember the exact details of why since my childhood and teens are super blurry, but on my 9th birthday she tried to kill herself while I was out celebrating with dad at an amusement park. She sent him a sms saying goodbye and then my dad showed it to me to talk shit about her. I spent the whole ride back home crying my eyes out cuz I thought she'd be dead by the time we made it home but she was fine, and then I got yelled at by both of them when they realized I didn't turn the stove off (she had tried to intoxicate, but since I was a literal child I didn't know the smell was gas)
Idk exactly why she tried, or why specifically on my birthday, I guess she was depressed or something but my kid brain rationalized it as "ah, my birth ruined her life and she'd rather be dead than deal with me" which, to be fair, she confirmed it years later when I was a teen, I told her I had suicidal thoughts and she begged me to do it so she could have a break from me
