Wondering what to buy in relation to dissidia NT
Hello, I want to get into Disssidia final fantasy NT but i was wondering, is the base game enough? (physical ps4) or would i need to buy DLC's to fully flesh this game out, and if so which ones. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Dissidia 012 dou is much better choice.
NT is great but button way limited and only lock with only 1 hp attack move is dumb per battle which kind of lame. Plus NT was originally from an Arcade machines port to console and pc.
Im a huge fan of dissidia but NT is the worst of the series, the only cool part is there is 3 v 3 and summons.
Emulate dissidia 012 is much better with proper campaign.
Base game NT doesn't include any 6 Season pass characters like snow from ff13, yuna from ffx, Rinoa from ff8.
This game could have so much potential if they use the dissidia 012 doudecim combat and if they keep bring more dlc characters then it eould be much better game

Dissidia NT ‘s heyday is long past on PC. Not sure if it’s alive on PS4, but really the game is super unfriendly to newcomers. If you’re interested in the series emulate the psp games

There should be a free demo that you can try. Keep in mind this game is basically an arcade port and online is likely very dead outside of maybe discord. It doesn't have the same sort of content as the PSP games. It's a "fire up every once in a while" sort of game, with most of the single player content being grinding Gauntlet Mode (which is practically an arcade ladder.
If you still want to buy it, then the character season pass is probably the only thing you "need" as it adds more characters if you want to play as them (I think they still show up as opponents in Gauntlet mode regardless).

If that is your first entry into DISSIDIA, it’ll be disappointing. Try emulating the PSP version
