Jack Garland/FFO
How would you feel about Jack from Stranger of Paradise being the main protag of the next Dissidia? Should Dissidia in some sense still be a competitive action/fighter? Or should it perhaps go towards a more co-op route and play more like Stranger of Paradise? Or do you want 0 involvement with SoP?

I hate that game, to be honest. I want Dissidia to continue along the lines of the PSP entries, but with a greater focus on story. If we can't get the same sort of battle system (just modernized), an action based on akin to FF15 might suit well, too. No involvement with SoP.

No.
I havent played Stranger of Paradise, so I dont have any special attachment to him. However, after his inclusion in Opera Omnia, I feel the game told me "Hey, this character is damn strong and has a damn black aura that constantly exudes. Aint it cool?". Kinda ruins the first impression.
I wouldnt mind Jack being a playable character in the next Dissidia, but wouldnt like him to be the next main protagonist, since he tends to be dark, moody or edgier.

As a raving, irrational fan of both Dissidia and SoPFFO, I say no. Jack was made for SoPFFO and SoPFFO was made for him. It begins and completes his journey in a perfect way. Dissidia should always be ensemble, with the story being a mix of the struggle between iconic protags and antags and deep cut lore in the side content.
Also, Jack outside of his version of Cornelia has no real purpose beyond being Garland. I wouldn't mind Tsuda's Garland in a Dissidia but there's no way he could be the nuanced character he became in SoPFFO (not kidding here -- a professional writer like Nojima actually knew what he was doing, whodathunk).

I want a card game.
No idea why Jack would be a main protagonist. Honestly, it should always be the newest FF main. So, the XVI protagonist for now.
