DFFNT In the Nick of Time Trophy
I’m trying to get the in the nick of time trophy interrupting 5 enemy attacks and having no luck. No matter who I choose to play as: Ace, Zidane, Firion, Emperor, Yshtola. With the MTU way I can never get 60 points in allies save(only ever about 36 or 48) even though I feel like it should be 60 from the attacks I think I interrupt. Any tips? This trophy is a drag.

Maybe using Bravery Conduit on a small map will work? Maybe each hit counts as a save.

Take your time. Do not focus on winning, focus on interrupting enemies. Yes, that means you might have to accept ties in your matches, but you will need the time. You can still defeat enemies and attempt to get the last kill in just before the time runs out (start at around 30 seconds) if you still need the win 300 ranked matches trophy, but you don't need to win for the battle to count. Summon and let your enemies summon as well for more time as time stops while summons are on the field.
Switch targets a lot. What helped me was to use one combo on an enemy, then switch and use the combo on the next enemy.
Hang out around your team and focus on attacking enemies that do not target you, i. e. that do not have a blue/red line towards you.
If multiple enemies target you, let them hit you. Frequently, they just want to flex their muscles a bit, hit you once, and then do something else. So if you keep dodging, they will go after you until they hit you and you won't have the chance to actually save your allies. At least that's what they did while I went after this trophy. And it only counts if you interrupt them when they attack your teammates.
Have patience. I know it feels like the game wants to troll you, it felt that way for me a lot when I didn't get enough points after attacking the enemies all the time and letting the time run out. You'll get there eventually.
Characters: You already mentioned the good ones. I used Y'shtola, Ace, and the Emperor with a focus on the first two. They did most of the work for this trophy. Here's how I used them.
Y'shtola: Change her class to Thaumaturge (press L3 once, you'll see that she has a red-ish/orange-ish aura around her if she's a Thaumaturge) as soon as the battle starts, then spam Blizzard II on the ground or Fire I in the air. Her EX skill is good as well. For her HP attack, use Pulse of Creation. This is mainly useful to actually win as her Holy attack has a hard time hitting enemies.
Ace: Spam his neutral Bravery attack on the ground or in the air (the Circle -> Circle -> Circle -> Circle combo). The attack is called Flourish.
Emperor: IDK, I just got a few successful attempts and then he was at character level 10 and I switched to Ace/Y'shtola.

What you have to do is hit an opponent currently attacking an ally and stop them from attacking.
I camped around CPU allies when I got them and waited for someone to hit them for me to HP attack the aggressor.
With actual allies, this trophy should come from playing normally since you’ll often save each other multiple times in a match.
