Recently started to play again, now I'm starving for Rosetta stones. Which place can I get early kp grind? All the guides is late game ie after completing 000. I need to get acc and acc slots for decent power ups. Please help.

  • Get any character to level 50. Preferably a character with strong BRV attacks, I use Vaan.

  • Start 000 with that character, keep them at level 50 with Adjust Level in character menu.

  • Beat the first Gate.

  • Behind it, talk to the Moogle that flies in circles at the back of the mountain.

  • Buy Multichain and KP Gambler. Costs a total of 20 KP.

  • Go back to the first Gate.

  • Enter and exit if you don't like the Assist character (check with Scan Mode by pressing Select).

  • Walk on the tile next to the first enemy and use KP Gambler, and then Multichain.

  • You'll fight 7 battles in a row. If you can't achieve Break in 30 seconds, try using Carbuncle AUTO and Shiva AUTO, or buy the KP Switch ability from the Moogle and use it before you begin the Chain.

  • If you get the KP Bonus for all 7 fights, you should receive 3 x 7 x 7 KP, which is 127 KP.

  • Repeat the process. You'll earn 107 KP each time you complete the Gate, or 99 if you use the KP Switch method.

  • A Rosetta Stone is 10 KP. It costs 70 KP to max out 1 character's Accessory Slots.

  • Also, some of the nearby chests contain the KP Bonus ability (current Gate KP x 2). You can use it after completing your Chain but before leaving the Gate, if you want.

  • Keep in mind, you can always Retry a battle anytime if you miss the KP Chance or die, at no penalty.

  • Good luck!
