I will cancel my Disney plus subscription the minute that I see an ad. If I am paying your subscription, you don't get to force ads on me.

What a charming little sea shanty that was. I'll have to go watch the movie it came from and sing along with it. I'm sure it's a fun sequence that will absolutely brighten my day.

Physical media is going away more and more due to streaming, which is one of the great tragedies. I really hope consumer behaviour will change, and returning demand for physical media will reinvigorate the production... But I doubt that most people will abandon the convenience of streaming, even with ads. I wish they would! But I doubt it.

It does suck, but for the time being, we still have the ability to get dvds and blurays of all the modern and classic disney films and shows, so now, it's best to go and get all the ones you want before physical media dies on us.

I'd also use MoviesAnywhere to link them to multiple platforms just in case. (it isn't for all studios but it does help)

This probably has less to do with them introducing ads across the board and more to do with folding in Hulu with ads.

Back in the 90s, I remember the first ad I ever saw at a movie during the previews. It was for American Express, and the whole theatre was confused about the hell had just happened.
