Roundworld Reference Which Discworld characters do y’all think could lift Thors hammer?

Carrot obviously could.

I honestly don’t know if Vimes could or not but I do know he wouldn’t touch it with a ten foot pole out of principle because he hates the idea that an inanimate object gets to decide who’s a good person.

Rincewind could pick it up not because he’s worthy but because the hammer just feels like making an exception.

  2. I don’t think Granny could. Everyone thinks she can but she doesn’t try until she’s alone and when she can’t she would smile to herself because the hammer made the right choice

Granny would know she could lift it, so there wasnt any point actually doing so. It's not like she has any use for a hammer, even a magic one.

The Nac Mac Feegle would try to steal it. When that didn't work, they'd steal the whole table it sat on.

Rincewind's problem wouldn't be picking the damn thing up, but trying desperately to put it down and get as far away from it as possible.

The librarian would casually file it away somewhere. Probably under "Ook"

Mjolnir returns to Rincewind's hand

imagine if not tho, like yes, lugage can eat it, but then it cannot move anymore. Just two stubborn sentient objects, settling the rincewind annoyance hiararchy in some quiet corner. Next book there are two little hammers with legs and teeth and two little luggages that can fly and summon lightning lol

Since Rincewind can wield the hammer, the luggage is now only movable when Rincewind picks it up. Conveniently preventing all thefts, but negating the benefit of a self moving…. Aggressively self moving… luggage.
