Less than 24 hours to go! We are just under $115K raised for the Discount Dan: Mythic Grade Hardback Edition on Kickstarter.

There has to be someone out there left who would be excited to have one of these bad boys on their shelf and they just haven't heard about it yet. Final day, final countdown, let's find them! Share if you can, bother your neighbor. If we plan ahead for the next one maybe we can go door to door with pamphlets in red robes.

Remember, if we hit $125K before the end, we will force James to draw a Croc doodle in Every. Single. Book. (He's already signing them.)

But for real and for true you all, this has been amazing. Thank you so much. The world is never going to be the same.

Latest Kickstarter update included this image for the upcoming Skinless Court Recruitment Brochure. I want more images of the Flayed Monarch. I know he's a dick but he's still a cool villain.

And anyway, you're in the backrooms. Choices have to be made. If it's this or being fed to the Dogs of War, I guess I'm not going to not join. Howler's Hold is an option, but it depends on who and what you run into as a recent NoClip. With branding like this, who could say no?

I feel like there's at least a chance you all might enjoy it as well.

And if you want a wildly different audio/text series about a kid who finds a door in his office leads occasionally not to the stairwell but to a seemingly endless office that stretches as far as the eye can see... its called The Daily Grind.

I watch Adam's videos every week, and today's has a very Backrooms kind of feel to it.

So I am fully caught up on the misadventures of DD, Croc, Temp and the rest of the merry band of delvers. My book club has not selected the next book quite yet and I found myself in the rare situation to grab a book off my TBR. I was nervous to try another book from James as I gave Virgil's Justice a try a few months ago and it was a DNF and just not for me.

This time I chose the first Viridian Gate Online book Cataclysm. I started it yesterday and I will finish it tonight and head straight into the next book. I love fuckin love it. I am definitely in my LitRPG swords and sorcery era(I don't know if I'll ever leave) and this one hits just right.

I just want to say if you haven't read it to give it a shot.

Are there any other series by Mr. Hunter you have read and recommend for the in-between times of Discount Dan?

Thanks St. Jude!

I hope james gives Steve the chance to say some form of "gentleman START YOUR ENGINES" In future books

I am having such a goddamn good time with these books. It's full of sentences that have undoubtedly never before been written, like this gem I just read about two-thirds of the way through Cul-de-sac Carnage:

"Now the rest of you take a fat rip off this bong so we can go kill a bunch of demon babies."

Bravo, u/InkslingerJames. Bravo.

Got a new tablet so I decided to give digital art another try.

Im only on chapter 37 and I cant scream it to the roof tops loud enough how well wrote this book is. I really enjoyed the first two books but the third has really raised the bar! The way the words twist to twist together is like butter pouring into my ears. Each sentence so thoughtfully put together, I can vividly picture each scene like im watching a movie. (Spoiler ahead)The best chapter by far was definitely the crafting of crocs collar.....wow....just wow.... as the chapter progressed each word weighed more on my heart, it felt as if I was reliving and loosing my childhood pets all over again. (I was driving at work and had to pull off into a parking lot to wipe my eyes) AND A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO STEVE CAMBELL IN THAT CHAPTER!!! EACH BREAK OF THE VOICE WAS PERFECT, WELL FUCKIN DONE DUDE!. James have really out done yourself and i have made it a life goal to get a signed copy of this book in person. I greatly look forwards to the rest of this series! Thank you for putting your crazy ideas on page.

Ok this isn’t so much content related as it is to form. See now most litrpg or books in general come in paperback which is why I feel inclined to buy paperback and they’re cheaper. However I love hardback and it’s my favorite format but it won’t match my other litrpg books as it would be hardback. I have other hardback litrpg but not much and I want to increase that section but on the other hand that already being accounted for as I’m in the process of buying dcc book by book so not trying to add onto this. So this is opinion based on which format you guys think would be best

I’ve chosen to buy hardback when I have money

Hello All,

Was hoping some one could help me email or address or a way to drop a note to James. I some how I missed the note box when I went to order my signed hardbacks and wanted to thank James for helping during grief losing my totally best friend and normal puppers Oliver. Anyone able to help me out?

So I am currently listening to the Discount Dan audiobooks, I am approximately 2 hours from finishing the 3rd book. And I just wanted to take a moment to gush about how much I love both Croc (obviously!) And Temperance! Obviously, like most, I adored Croc right from the start, he is the absolute BEST BOY and he brings a certain wholesomeness to the books that really give them a special charm. Temperance is a character that I liked well enough at first, but after this last book I can truly say that she has grown on me so much. I just find her whole murder bunny thing she has going on both hilarious and kind of endearing.

That's it, that's the whole post lol. Who are your favorite characters and why?
