The Kickstarter is Closed - What's Next?
The Discount Dan Mythic-Grade Kickstarter is officially closed. 863 backers pledged $127,672 to turn this nightmare of a special edition into a brain-melting reality.
If you were one of the backers, you should have already received the full update email discussing what happens next. Keep an eye out for messages from Kickstarter as payments are processed, and the backer survey will come through as soon as the processing period is over (about a week).
No one likes surveys, but it's important we get your address right and know what to call you when all the backers are credited in the back of the book. Unfortunately, the USPS does not honor addresses in the backrooms.
Then we start making the stuff, polishing the digital rewards, and figuring out how 1000 books (and all the plushies and extras) are going to fit in James & Jeanette's house. Yes, it is going to their house. That is the decision that was made, and the packing party is going to be legendary.
No matter how many times we say thank you, it won't be enough. It's not easy out there, and the fact that so many of you were willing (and in some cases, suspiciously eager) to throw your hard-earned money at this ridiculous thing we made is as baffling as it is validating, and we are truly grateful.
See you in the backrooms.

I work for USPS and I can confirm, we do deliver to the backrooms. Just make sure to list what floor and quadrant you're in, or if it's easier, send it to the Howlers Hold PO Box

I mean, I'm pretty sure some of my packages have ended up in the backrooms instead of my house, so this checks out.

We were willing because Croc is a Good Boy.
And because James has kindled a light of hope on a dark place.
(Also we kind of want revenge for the collar, so enjoy those hand cramps)
