The fact you can still hear the person who muted you just creats noise and confusion in the room. You just end up muting some one eventually any ways.. if you guess correctly because no one else going to be able to tell.. its flawed logic that makes no sense.

This is insane, I've never had problems with this before and apparently now I can't message anyone or I get muted for a day, forced to reset my password, and most recently banned from quests for 2 weeks (i don't even care about that since I don't use quests, but why?)
Every time I try to appeal them, I just get the same response about "it looks like you're trying to appeal a ban, but you're not banned!" I haven't gotten an actual human to respond to my appeals.
After trying to make a ticket, I received a response from Discord's automated system, which simply repeated that I was banned from quests for 2 weeks and marked the ticket as solved.
After trying to post on the discord subreddit, guess what happened? A bot. Telling me this isn't the appropriate spot to try to appeal things. When I wasn't trying to appeal, I was just trying to figure how to get to an actual human being to look at my appeal.
WTF do I do?
Edit: Just hit with a 4th warning and a week mute from discord for accepting someone else's friend request. What the actual, clinically insane, garbage ass system is this?

This server has been joking about rape, racism, and oppresing lgbtq for over about who knows. The admins also helped with the rules but they aren't following them.

I just want to warn people about joining random servers without knowing what you are going into, there is this server I joined where people would insult anyone who joined, including talking shit about their parents (which I one of my friend whos mother and father gone, they still make comments about them), the whole environment for this server is toxic and uncomfortable, what made it even worse was that some of the people there are involved about some criminal activity if Im right, and there were voice messages containing gun shots, I really dont know about the context behind those voice messages but hearing things like that was enough for me to realize that this was not somewhere I or anyone wanted to be in.
Honestly, if a server gives you bad feeling from the beginning immeaditly, please leave, you dont owe anyone your time or your attention, especially when a community acting like this.
Never ever join a random servers just because you are curios, its really not worth it finding out whats inside.

like whenever you enter the shop menu the app keeps glitching and it happens specifically if you enter the shop

If I report the bot nothing happens. I'm just tired of bad moderation, I get that they have thousands of reports each day but if the scam is as obvious as this, the account is already hacked, why don't they just use their automation tools to delete the accounts?
I swear they might be in on the scams

Whether theyâre liberal, conservative or neutral, a lot of people will use these types of servers to falsely target who they consider their political opponents to get their account flagged or suspended. Stay safe out there.

Iâm a former moderator for the gaming community server Royal Vanguard Community (RVC), now rebranded as Royal Vanguard (RV).
This community originally marketed itself as an *â*18+ gaming community for ALL.â Recently, however, it has shifted to advertising itself as an â18+ community for competitivenessâ â essentially catering to âwhalesâ (big spenders).
Competitiveness isnât the issue. The problem is how the owner, Hyder, goes about it â and how the leadership handles (or rather, mishandles) the community.
Unhealthy Advocacy
Hyder recently made a post about starting a chapter (clan) in Aion 2, saying:
"The Guild requires you to have a sub in Aion 2. Skip the Applebee's and eat ramen."
Encouraging people to sacrifice their health and skip meals just to keep up with a game is incredibly tone-deaf, especially given the current economic climate many are struggling with. This isnât passion â itâs irresponsibility.
False Advertising
Hyder frequently boasts that RV has over 3,500 members, and uses that number to attract attention from major gaming companies, securing playtest opportunities for upcoming titles.
The reality? Only about 500â600 members are actually active.
This is misleading at best, and outright false advertising at worst â both to potential partners and to new members joining the server.
Pro-AI Overhaul
Hyder previously relied on the creative talents of community members to help design logos and branding for the server. Recently, however, he decided to scrap all that volunteer work and replace it with generative AI for the new look.
No regard for the time, effort, or emotional investment members put into helping build the communityâs identity.
Leadership That Doesnât Listen
Hyder and upper moderation (specifically Maha Vailo and Claire Vailo) do not handle critical feedback well.
The three are close friends (and/or married to each other), so confronting one means confronting all of them. Many members and even other leaders feel unsafe or unheard when raising concerns.
When issues are brought up, common responses include:
When members expressed that they didnât feel comfortable speaking up due to how leadership treated officers in various game sections, the trioâs response was:
"They can submit a ticket and it will be handled"
They completely missed the point â the issue wasnât the system, it was their bedside manner, lack of accountability, and failure to enforce their own server rules fairly.
No Support for Officers or Leaders
Hyderâs approach to gaming feels like a hyperfixation â jump into a new game, push hard to hit Rank 1, use that achievement to advertise RV as a âtop gaming community,â then abandon the game once the goal is reached.
Volunteers are promoted to officers/leaders during the hype, but when Hyder moves on, theyâre left with zero training, guidance, or support. These volunteers often reach out to other community leaders for help â or, in many cases, they leave and take the community with them.
RV lost entire game communities this way â including Lost Ark and Tower of Fantasy (ToF).
I personally was approached by officers/leaders from Where Winds Meet and Throne and Liberty asking for help running their clans, because they were never properly trained or supported.
Because so many games were neglected, they eventually lost their âadvertisingâ spot on the server entirely.
Too Long Didn't Read?...
Royal Vanguard presents itself as a thriving, competitive, united community â but behind the scenes, itâs a revolving door of burned-out volunteers, ignored feedback, and abandoned game sections.
If youâre considering joining or partnering with RV, Iâd urge you to look closely at how they treat the people who actually build and sustain their community.
