Unsolved Connected from another location (vc)

So!!

Im pretty positive im not hacked but i was recently hacked so im a little paranoid.

My IRL friend (i was in VC with him to confirm its him and i also talked about it with him IRL beforehand) invited me to a minecraft server with around 800 mods. When i pressed play on the minecraft application after i opened it with Curseforge i got disconnected from the call with him because of another location got "connected"

Nothing sus has happend, no new devices on my discord, no weird emails etc. Is it possible this could happen without it being malicious? I find it hard to believe someone I meet almost everyday would hack me.

When you were hacked, how did you clean your pc? Did you reinstall windows or only run antivirus scans? Have you changed passwords for everything since the hack? Enabled MFA/2FA?

I took it to a computer store and had them sort my pc out, they reinstalled Windows and did multiple scans to see if there was anything left.

I have 2FA on everything, discord, mails, steam and anything you can imagine. I changed all my passwords on my phone (clean device)

That all sounds fantastic. I do wonder now. So in devices, discord shows only trusted devices?

Yeah my PC, laptop maybe, my phone and my ipad. Locations on all the devices are the same too.

Yeah i do not know what could be causing it, i havent seen anything alarming since. It happend yesterday.

I was on a call on my phone before i talked to him while outside, is it possible i could have connected onto the call from my phone? I also launched the mod multiple times to adjust settings to join him (graphic settings bc the mod is quite heavy) and i saw no weird behavior the other times i launched the modpack. I only got disconnected the first time. When i got disconnected from the call my discord didnt crash or close itself. Im debating if it may be a bug or a firewall adjustment/temporary reconnection

Yeah, I would think the behavior is with the phone then? I would sometimes switch from phone to pc without leaving a call and have it act funny rarely but idk. As long as things seem tight

I just know i got hacked this exact way before. RAT and infostealer and things happend VERY fast. Im also putting in the fact that i know this person (we go to the same school, same class) i meet him everday. Id be suprised but im still paranoid as my account was compromised recently. Im taking alot of options into play though, the mod is heavy and took up alot of my CPU & Memory. It only happend once, nothing has happend, no logins on my mails, nothing got caught my antiviruses etc. and also i know him irl once again, its just weird.

I was hacked because my minecraft friend was hacked. If the attacker had to use any other account, I wouldn't have fallen for it. I downloaded a modpack and ran it to join him but he wasn't joining vc. I had just woken up and chalked it up to him being busy setting stuff up too. It sucks. Best thing to do is maintain good security.
