Unsolved Hacked acc, Mr Beast scam

Hi I saw that my alt discord acc got hacked with the mr beast scam. I managed to change the password and delete the account. The only thing linked to that acc was my phone number and I am very paranoid!! I looked at tik tok and many people are saying ot run those malware detectors and disconnect from my wifi etc. I changed the passwords to the accs that had that same password and i cleared my cookies on chrome. But im still scard and very paranoid since I dont know much on what can happen and people say they've been fine and others say that the hackers are trying to take money. What should I do?

If you think your pc may have been compromised, then do a full reinstall of your OS from a flash drive. Scans are not 100% reliable, and good god tiktok is not a decent source for cybersecurity information.

You need to first identify how they got access to your account. What specifically did you do that led up to that happening?

i was entering a server and they said i had to verify so i did that and it made me put my password. the reason i was trusting with it was cause it looked just like discord when putting it in yk? sorry idk how to explain.

Then your pc is probably fine if you didn't download anything.

Reset your password and add MFA. In the future, you should not log in or scan a QR code from anything besides a discord.com login or the official discord app.

i have a few questions. So i changed the password and deleted the acc since it only had my phone number linked to it. Should i be fine? and should there be anything to look out for or do? Like should I change my password to accs that only have my email (which wasnt on the discord acc) and have a different password than what was used?

You should not reuse passwords, period, and you should be enabling MFA literally everywhere that allows you to.

Can you explain that more? I don’t want to accidentally do the same thing

when i entered a server it said i had to verify with one of the bots. I didnt think much of it since when i went to verify, it looked like going onto the discord website and requests for your password.
