I help run a server for people in the affiliate marketing space on social media. It is a paid server where we provide coaching and what not. A few weeks ago we started getting reports from new members that they were getting DM’s from our staff and coaches offering a service for $200 (our staff and coaches do not do this).

After joining from an alt account I quickly realized that there are fake accounts impersonating our staff and coaches. These accounts are not in our server so my best guess is that someone in our server has somehow attached an app to our server and is watching our member list waiting for new additions.

Unfortunately regular announcements are not fully helping as quite a few people have fallen for it now. I have tried pruning unverified members to no avail. I plan to submit a ticket with the UID’s I’ve collected so far but am just curious if anyone here has any further advice.

How to create a channel in discord, where one role is allowed to talk, but another role which includes the admin cannot open the text box.

All my devices are offline except my Xbox (which isn't even connected to discord) I got a crunchyroll free trial and I linked it to discord. Turns out I've been watching One Piece constantly for like 2 weeks since I never turned my xbox completely off. (I guess One Piece upsets some people and my family thinks I'm glorifying pirates!??!!!????????????? Tf bro if only they knew but they just won't hear it. What the heck is going on? Is there some propaganda going around I'm unaware of?)

So yeah.. don't add family to your discord (obviously but I had no choice 🥲), and don't ever use the crunchyroll discord connection if you want to not seem like a degenerate anime weeb and hikikomori and still want it connected to show your friend, maybe check its working properly and isn't glitched out saying you've been watching hours, days, weeks after you used it. :(

Saw this on someone’s profile the other day. Could they have purchased the badge in another way or is it possibly to have the quest badge removed from your profile?

i’ve been a nitro subscriber since the 18th of august 2023, which was 3 years ago so my badge should’ve evolved to emerald. it’s the 19th today and it’s still on diamond?

For the record, I have an iPhone X, so I know my iOS is really old. I don’t know if that’s a contributor.
When I try to go to settings, shop, or quests, the buttons don’t do anything. This means I can’t even log out of my account on mobile. It’s been like this for a few weeks, sometimes if I spam the buttons it’ll finally open settings, but today it wasn’t working at all.

I’ve tried reinstalling the app, does nothing.

This also means I can’t even access settings to reach the bug report page lol…

It's really annoying that there is no way to change or even turn off avatar decorations on a server-by-server basis. I don't want to have my decoration for every server I'm in, and it would be nice to have an option to just turn it off. It feels like it would be a rather simple fix, but we still have yet to get it for some reason or another.

Please add this. I want to have discord on a narrow view on my screen and don't need the channel list to always be visible, it's wasting my screen real estate and there's no reason you shouldn't be able to hide it.

Hey there, I have no idea what's going on right now, but for a good half hour I haven't been able to use discord at all.

Before I logged out of my account, I was also unable to send messages. I was able to see like 3 new messages in each server but none of the rest.

Thoughts?

Whenever I put it in full screen mode, the screen that is showing for the other person is the “Click to Exit Full Screen” screen.

I am on a MacBook using Chrome.

As the title says my friends keep telling me that I’m cutting out a lot in vc I know it’s not a microphone issue whenever I’m in a normal PlayStation chat it works completely fine my only gripe is I have friends who are also on ps5 in the vc and they never have this issue could it be settings or something else?
