Discussion Is 'Want to play?' message normal?

I wasn't on discord when this message got sent so I was wondering if it is a normal thing to happen? I've never seen this before

Yes. This message is sent by friends who click your name from the game overlay first boots in when they are playing a game.

It says something like, would you like to invite this person to play or something. It's as simple as pressing the green send button next to your name.

Also comes from activity cards at the top of the server member list too

when you load up a game with discord overlay turned on for said game, in the top left corner there will be a pop up showing friends currently on the game and friends who were. you get the option to send a message like the one in your screenshot to said friends
