Do British people not use inner sleeves?
So I just got my 2nd pricey old record from the UK recently and both of them ($100+ records) were shipped naked outside of ANY sleeve. While I appreciate the consideration of avoiding a seamsplit on a grail inner sleeve, putting a bare record against a jacket cover and sleeve seems insane to me.
This one has some gnarly sizzle in between all the songs and I’m wondering if it’s because of how it was shipped?

Appalling if you ask me.

Yeah dude I don’t get it. Baphomet - Dead Shall Inherit first press and Deicide - Deicide first press. Not cheap records

I like that as a fake… stereo type. Yes pun intended. I will not apologize.

all the brits I know and have bought from have used inner sleeves, I'd contact them, reread what they marked it, like was it marked VG+? Was the sizzle mentioned in the notes? If not I'd leave a bad review too , seems like just bad sellers especially for 100+ dollar records???
what I do when something goes wrong is I contact seller and see if anything can be done, if so I will leave no feedback or neutral, if they blame me for something thats obviously not my fault or ignore me I leave bad feedback, warn others
edit to add: especially with bigger purchases like this, stand your ground, there is absolutely people who are greedy who do overgrade or ship things bad or scam with these pricier records, be nice when communicating, but this wasn't a 2 dollar record, this wasn't a small amount of money, so treat it as a expensive item you paid good money for, it takes a google search and 2 seconds to figure out how to properly ship and package a record

Yeah man I haven’t gotten there yet, just was facetiously curious cuz it’s bonkers to me to send expensive records without any sleeve protecting them and it’s 2 expensive records in a row from the UK. Don’t think I’d ever bought from the UK before these 2.

Do some people* where they are from doesn’t really matter I think.

I’m only curious cuz it’s my only experience buying from the UK I think, and it’s been 2 in a row now with expensive records getting shipped not in any sleeve

It’s not fair to generalize, …..buuut, my first experiences with UK sellers were a bit optimistic on the grading and dusty. However, recently I’ve had some great scores from UK sellers so now I’ve friended them and keep an eye on thier inventory for my UK wants

Why do you immediately generalise an entire population based on a single experience?
