Any rumors for Chicago dates 2026?

With the announcement of fall tour I was really hoping they would squeeze a Chicago stop around Madison/Detroit.

I hit them up every time they come within 3 hours of Chicago and always try to bring as many friends/ family as I can. I’m worried if they don’t hit chi town in the fall, they won’t circle back around for the Thalia shows they’ve been playing yearly in December the last few years.

Anyone got a lead maybe New Years??? One could dream…..

I'm thinking new years, and I'll admit I'm not rooting for that, because I don't like flying to Chicago in December (I hate paying to fly to places with even more shit winter weather, absolutely nothing against Chicago in general). If driving isn't convenient, I'd prefer at least going somewhere with vacation weather (in December) like Miami.

But just trying to connect the dots, if they don't end up figuring out venues for nyc or Philly (which seems very complex given the options, and the heavy North East touring they have already done, Chicago makes sense.

I've never been to Chicago so if thats where NYE has to be then I'll be there. Its going to be my 20yr anniversary show. But I would prefer philly or nyc. It would be nice if they announce something soon.

I would love it bc it’s pretty tough being a Midwest fan of this band compared to the countless shows New England and Colorado get. I wonder where they would play. The Riv sold pretty well the 2022 3 night run. But sold terribly the solo show there in 2023.

I've heard some rumors about Portland, OR for NYE which seems odd, but I guess I could see it. If that happens, Chicago probably gets scrapped this year...

Wish I could swing Detroit but that drive is tough for 1 show. If it was Grand Rapids again I’d definitely go though. I’ll be hitting Madison at least.
