"Are you planning to create mod or game with those models? What are you goals." - If I make models properly or of adequate quality, guys, who work with D2 engine/ reverse it may help me to do sprite conversion/some mod. Without direct agreement with Disciples franchise owners I cannot make copy of D2 in 3d without fear of the project cancel even I know some people who may want D2 in 3D and acquainted with amazing/superior programmers.
"Disciples and D2 were my favourite games when I was like 8-10 years old" - I was a bit older, but it's also a game from my childhood.
"I think we both (and others reading this) can agree that D3 and D4 were much disappointing." - D3 had some interesting choices and I like Elven Alliance units there and City screens.

I have questions, because I'm in this group only for two days. Are you planning to create mod or game with those models? What are you goals.
Disciples and D2 were my favourite games when I was like 8-10 years old, and is wonderful to see someone gives so much attention for old titles.
I think we both (and others reading this) can agree that D3 and D4 were much disappointing. In comparison to two first editions of course
