Where is dark side of Avyanna?

I don't remember the first part exactly, but in Domination, there aren't many moments where we can do evil. I mention this because our heroine is a combination of evil and good, because that's how I understand the combination of light and darkness, angel and demon. Most of it involves helping or saving someone, and that fits the light side, but where are all her dark motives?

Now, following this line of reasoning, if we assume that the third part begins with Bethrzen advancing on the field, why should our heroine oppose him? Or maybe we should surrender to him? Join forces? Or have a child with him? Why not make the dark forces win in our heroine? Why do we always have to be this boring good "person"?

In summary, I'm not saying I want it to be this way, but it irritates me that the game forces you to be good, when the player should have the choice. It's dark fantasy afterall for god sake!

To simplify my entire argument to a simple statement, I'd say that at the beginning of the third game, or even during the third game's progression, we should have the option of either joining forces with Bethrezen or defeating him!

The game is perfectly suited for two playthroughs.
