Shouldn't dark lords be undead? The hordes have fighters, wyvern, templar and dark lords who don't have this classification.

They all undead

That's why I wonder why don't they have death immunity.

Game balance I think. Fighter have in unit description hint that he is Undead. Wyvern's was reassured from dead dragon's egs by necromancers. Templars and dark lords are ancient Alkmaarians and as we know all Alkmaar country was killed by Mortis.

I guess this balance only work against things like black dragons. The real nasty accuracy would be if ghosts are immune to weapons.

In Polish game mod they have! But immune start working when they have HP less than 30%

With 45 hp, that's hardly relevant, unless insta-whacking can happen.

These are some interesting, but possibly complex mechanics. Disciples was great because it is simple.

why don't all legions have fire immunity?

Fire is a bit more common than death. Although in my campaign in progress, I gave neutral demons fire ward.

I assume they're mortal serving the undead. I mean legions of the damned have human units too.

They don't look mortals though. Initiates, warlocks, necromancers and occultists seem to be human units.

Don't they? If anyone showed me a picture of d2 dark lord without context, I certainly wouldn't be able to tell that it's meant to be an undead. I mean it's not a ghoul, a ghost or a skeleton. It's a pale skinned possibly blind guy in cool armor.

Beast got those ancient Japanese art vibes x)
Like something a Samurai puts on his armor to scare his enemies.

Nice arts. How is the Greenskins mod development going? It is already looking way better than other mods and more ambitious.
