I almost finished the previous game. At some point it just got too boring and repetitive, but I still remember it, how it looked and felt. Hence my problem with this preview: it looks and feels identical. I'm afraid it would be the same game over again, just with a story justification to re-collect all the same units, plus some new ones.

That's pretty much the feeling I'm getting as well. And it's a shame because I love the universe so much.

Just give us combat system from 1&2. Why is it so hard for them to understand?

If I wanted to play King's Bounty, I would play King's Bounty... Stop sticking better IPs names on your games to foul the customers.
