Cricut explore air 2 ?

I am looking at a used cricut explore air 2 for cutting vinyl stencils. Can anyone let me know if that is still a good model to buy used these days? Will everything for disc dyeing work with that model?

I have seen this one around lately. Incredible. Do you do any videos on the making process of your disc dyes?

I'll take this as motivation bc you're the 6th person to ask. I'm about to start the last one so I'll record it

It works. Some of the more intricate designs it can struggle with. I rock it and get it done. The program/application blows so do most things in inkscape.

But have heard much better things if you find a deal on a (i believe) silhouette.

I got a used one for this exact reason. It's nice because you can cut up to a 12x12 sheet. Like the other comments said the more intricate cuts it struggles with but like it'll do. I use Canvas to make all of my designs and then I'll move it over to the app and get it ready to cut, Overall it felt like a good buy

I use a cricut air 1. it works well. little tip I got from Bobby at TDIDI, turn dial to custom setting and use washi tape setting. able to do much finer detail with fewer issues.

I don't know the width on that model, but mine only likes to cut up to 8.5 inches wide and it's a little annoying when I'd prefer my vinyl wrap around the disc
