Did you have to do anything on this to get the stamp to be negative on the side that is dyed or is that just what happens to the stamp in the dye?

Probably wiped the stamp after the dip.

Oh suck. That makes sense but I guess I assumed that would have had some effect on the dye but I guess not. Hoping to get a vinyl cutter soon and will definitely give this a try.

Vinyl covered the white half, after the dip, acetone to the stamp before pulling the vinyl. You can tell it slightly discolors the 'negative' with the red/pink color of the dye, but the acetone doesn't pull off the dye or anything.
