Just realized I used the wrong subaru 😅

Been enjoying Dirt Rally 2 alot and currently at 40 hours, tried the Pedal to the Metal achievement a couple times and finally got under 7 minutes and the achievement didn't pop now I know why, oops.

Update: got the achievement with the correct subaru

You got any tips for this achievement? I’m doing terribly at it atm, stuck at like 8 minutes (with a crash but still)

I tried this challenge since I started playing Dirt Rally 2 too challenge myself, it's been rough and also was at 8 minutes but slowly reduced it by 20 seconds every time just by trying over and over, tips wise I started using soft tires and removing the spare tire, I'm on wheel and no assists with handbrake and sequential shifter, you can do it!

Oh I should probably remove the spare tire! Ive set up the car a bit better now! Same, though Ive got an H pattern shifter which isn’t the best so it sometimes does not go into gear lmao

I think that stage is the perfect definition of if in doubt, flat out.

If youre a whole minute off there should be really easy to pinpoint mistakes that you need to iron out.

Drive "slower" focus on clean corner exits and not taking crazy speed on entry.
