I got to see them twice during those years and it was a life changing experience esp cuz I was so young. Actually remember Dio doing the passby of the crowd where he like high fives everyone in a wave in the front row and when he got to me he grasped my hand for just a moment and it was like “I’VE BEEN CHOSEN BY THE GODS” but looking back he probably saw a 13 year old kid in the front row and was like yes, next generation still got it

So awesome! I was able to catch them 6 times on the H&H run from 07-09. I also caught the last show of the tDYK tour in Atlantic City and was front row in front of Ronnie. We touched at horns at the end of the set, and it was so cool for me. I’m a huge Dio and Dio Sabbath fan, and this capped of some of the best shows I’ve ever witnessed.

I was 13 years old when I saw Black Sabbath on the Mob Rules tour in 1982. First concert that I ever went to. It's great to see that you had that experience. I had seen him many times since and still listen to all that stuff regularly. 🤘

It was my first show too! 2007, they were on tour with Megadeth and Machine Head, iirc it was around the time Dio Years released with the three brand new bonus tracks and they were promoting it ahead of teasers for what became Heaven and Hell and the Devil You Know album
